TRAFFIC  AND  SAFETY

Ensuring student safety at school is a priority of our staff.  We ask that all families read and follow the traffic and safety guidelines which have been developed in conjunction with the City of Batavia and the Batavia Police Department.  If you have questions about the guidelines, please call the main office.  Thank you for your help and cooperation!

Morning and Afternoon Student Drop Off and Pick Up:

Parents dropping off and picking up students from school may use the circle driveway.  Please form one line of cars along the right curb and down the driveway for student pickup. Be sure to be aware of the buses, which must use the same driveway to access the parking lot.  Also, please do not block the parking lot entrance.  When you are ready to exit the circle, move to the left and use the inner lane as the exit lane.  This second row should ONLY be used for cars exiting.    On bad weather days, we will ask that all cars move up to the gym door so we can make maximum usage of our circle parking.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNATTENDED IN THE DRIVE WAY.

Parking Lot Note:

The parking lot adjacent to the school is closed to all traffic between 3:15 and 3:40 in the afternoon.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these safety procedures.  For the safety of our students, staff members, and parents, persons who do not follow these guidelines will be reported to the Batavia Police Department.
