PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Do you have a student that will be turning 5 by September 1, 2023, that you are considering entering kindergarten at a BPS101 elementary school for the 2023-2024 school year? Join us for a Kindergarten Meet and Greet on February 16, 2023. Please sign up to meet with me at the Rosalie Jones School Administration Building, 335 W. Wilson Street. At that time you will submit registration documentation and have a 10-minute time slot where I can answer any questions you may have. Batavia Public School District 101 strongly encourages families of incoming kindergarten students to participate, which starts the enrollment process. A reminder to 1st and 4th grade parents – Mutual Ground presentations will occur in your child’s classroom next week (Thursday for 1st and Friday for 4th.)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR UPCOMING FUN FAIR
The LWS PTO depends on volunteers to run our events, and the Fun Fair (scheduled for February 25) is a large event, requiring many volunteers. Unfortunately, we have not had very many parents express any interest in volunteering. We are still about 40 volunteers short of what we need to make the event run successfully. If we cannot fill all the volunteer slots by next Friday, February, 3rd, we will be canceling the event. We know the Fun Fair is an event students look forward to and it is one of our biggest fundraisers. So please help us out and volunteer so we can run this popular event this year. Remember, volunteers will receive one free admission ticket for each time slot they help out!

VALENTINE’S DAY COOKIE BOXES
There is still time to order Valentine’s Day Cookie Boxes! Order forms are due on Tuesday, January 31st. Cookie Boxes will be delivered to the school the week of February the 6th.
